Maria Coppola, APR, CPRC is the owner and lead consultant at Coppola PR. Coppola is an accredited and certified public relations consultant with more than 16 years of agency PR consulting experience coupled with eight years of journalism experience and education.

Coppola PR currently represents small and large companies with headquarters in North Florida. Coppola PR has business communications and PR experience in finance and banking, real estate investment and management, commercial construction and development, technology, retail and higher education.

With a focus on PR for business and industry, Coppola PR has some of the most varied experience and success in the market with public and media relations. From staff and leadership changes to product and service launches to management of long-term crisis communications, Coppola PR has one of the longest track records of generating quality, positive news coverage, proactive public relations and stronger internal and external relationships in the Northeast Florida.

Coppola PR’s work for JAX2025 won a statewide 2013 Golden Image Award, the annual excellence in PR awards administered by The Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA). Her work with Community First Credit Union’s Community First Cares Foundation won a statewide Golden Image Award in 2014.

A Jacksonville native, Maria holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications. She is a 2009 Women of Influence honoree as named by the Jacksonville Business Journal. She was named a 2009 Forty under 40 honoree as named by the Jacksonville Business Journal.

Coppola is a graduate and member of the Leadership Jacksonville Class of 2011. She also served as the 2011-12 president of the Jacksonville Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association. Coppola is a graduate of the JAX Chamber JAX Bridges program and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and PRSA’s Counselors Academy.
